Labour Hire to the Mining and Resources Industry

Our Labour Hire division provides short and long-term contract staff to over a dozen mining, drilling and maintenance companies with operations spread around WA. Most of this work is on "fly-in fly-out" rosters of 8x6 or 2x1 and includes both surface and underground minesites. Pay rates vary depending on the contracting client company but are usually higher than the industry average because of the nature of the employment arrangement which is that the single flat hourly rate paid covers all allowances and benefits. With existing shortages of labour we find that good staff on labour hire to our clients are retained for long and usually indefinite periods of time.

Work for the Mineworks Group technical services workshop

Our company's service focus is the provision of mechanical and auto-electrical solutions for the maintenance, repair and upgrade of mobile mining and earthmoving plant.

Our Technical Services workshop employs skilled plant mechanics and heavy equipment auto-electricians to undertake a variety of tasks for our mining company clients. It may be the overhaul and refurbishment of a bogger, the modification of a charge-up machine or the installation of various new items of equipment. Whatever the job, we need good staff, and they will often be called upon to travel to distant parts of WA, and sometimes interstate, to undertake repairs or installations. Vacancies don't come often, but when they do we are interested in talking to committed and experienced people.
