EQUIPMENT REBUILDS, REPAIRS AND FIELD SERVICE

One of the highest cost contributors to mining operations is the capital investment in mobile and fixed equipment. As these assets generate income, it is essential that downtime is kept to a minimum; which is why regular proactive maintenance and rapid response to fixing mechanical problems is vital.

At Mineworks Technical Services we offer workshop-based and on-site repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance services for a range of mining and construction equipment.

Our heavy duty fitters, apprentices and trades assistants within the Mechanical Services team offer complete overhaul and rebuilding services for a wide variety of both surface and underground mining equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors, and gearboxes. All our certified rebuilds are covered by a warranty, and will be supported by Mineworks’ field service technicians.

The Fabrication & Welding team’s dedicated workshop can design, manufacture or modify plant and equipment. With highly-skilled boilermakers, apprentices and trade assistants on board, we are certified to carry out chassis repairs; manufacture lifting and safety equipment; and build ROPS and FOPS structures for all types of equipment.

We also offer on-site Field Services, with our qualified mechanics and boilermakers working from a fleet of specially-designed remote-location trucks and utility vehicles. Our Field Service team is available 24 hours a day for short and long-term maintenance and repair assignments.
